Premier Stump Planing Augers
Available in two sizes – 12″ and 16″ – these augers are engineered to work with mini skid steers, skid steers, compact track loaders, tractors, backhoes, and excavators. Both the 12″ abd 16″ come with a 2″ hex collar.
Both models require robust earth auger drive units:
- 12″ Auger: Requires at least 3,000 foot-pounds of torque
- 16″ Auger: Requires at least 5,500 foot-pounds of torque
Note: Not compatible with 3 Point PTO Augers for tractors.
Built for durability and performance, these augers feature:
- Heavy Duty 3/4″ Flighting: Supports dual cutting edges and clears shavings to keep blades in constant contact with the stump
- High-Quality Alloy Cutting Edges: Engineered to last, easily removable and sharpenable
- Durable Spiral Center Point: Pulls the auger into the stump with minimal down pressure and is easily replaceable
Recommended Use:
- 12″ Bit: Ideal for most standard flow drive units
- 16″ Bit: Best paired with high torque drive units
- Both sizes are compatible with two-speed drive units
